that is the laptop an simple yes or no would do the trick but i would like an explanation whether or not it can indeed run world of warcraft, all feedback much appreciated.

I use a very similar laptop, (acer, 5800 processor, 4 gig of ram, geforce 9600m graphics) and this runs WoW at 30 fps with middle to high graphics. With everything turned up i get about 15fps in populus areas. So in answer yes, the likelhood is that it will run it. Not top notch, but not bargain bucket either.
